The latest predictions from the national forecaster, India Meteorological Department (IMD) states that Tauktae is expected to make a landfall over the Gujarat coast near Porbandar and Mahuva (Bhavnagar district) to the east of Diu between 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. The storm is moving towards the Gujarat coast at a speed of about 20 kmph.
